Principal's Welcome

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year at Buhach Colony High School!  I am thrilled to join you as your principal and look forward to an amazing year of growth, learning, and achievement.

At Buhach Colony, "Hammer Down, Strike Gold"  reflects our commitment to perseverance, excellence, and the pursuit of success in every endeavor. Whether in academics, arts, athletics, or community service, we encourage every student to strive for their personal best and to never give up on their dreams.

Our goal at Buhach Colony High School is to lead students on the Path to Prepared. Which simply means that each student successfully completes requirements to be college, career, and community ready. Through rigorous and engaging academics, social emotional learning, college courses, and many extracurricular opportunities, we aim to prepare our students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to excel in the next phase of their lives.

Our dedicated staff are here to support you every step of the way. Together, we will foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where each student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential. Beyond academics, we place a strong emphasis on work ethic, character development, leadership skills, and community engagement. We believe these qualities are essential for success not only in academics and careers but also in making positive contributions to society.  The Power of Us is a mindset that all staff members practice daily because we know we can solve many of the issues we face if we work together.

I encourage you to get involved, take risks, and explore your interests. High school is a time of discovery and growth, and we are here to help you navigate this journey with confidence and enthusiasm. As we embark on this new school year together, let us remember that each day is an opportunity to learn, to lead, and to make a positive impact on our school and community. Let's embrace the challenges ahead with determination and the knowledge that together, we can achieve greatness.

I am honored to serve as your principal and look forward to a fantastic year ahead. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or to any member of our staff if you have questions, concerns, or ideas to share.

Here's to a year filled with academic success, personal growth, and memorable experiences!

Warm regards,
